What we are looking for:

An Associate Investment Analyst within the Global Equites team for the European equity division of Fiera Capital ("Fiera Europe"), with specific responsibilities as follows:
  • Associate Analyst supporting the Investment team. The role will focus on deefundamental equity research but also include the managemenent and administration the research process and systems.
  • Research / Investment Role:
  • Over time and through an active learning and development program, becoming a key contributor of investment ideas for the fund through researching investment themes, industries and companies in line with our stated investment philosophy;
  • Conduct specific research tasks on companies and industries, including initial and ongoing maintenance reviews;
  • Attend and contribute to investment team meetings;
  • Attend / organise / contribute to team research meetings (companies, analysts, experts etc.);
  • Build and maintain financial models;
  • Strong long-term career progression potential for the right candidate;
  • Setting high standards for equities investment management that reflect our values and globally competitive practices;
  • Research process and systems management function including (but not limited to);
  • Management of internal / external relationships and workflows (Performance and attribution team, risk team, product specialist, Accuity, Holt, Bloomberg);
  • Research management - maintaining and portfolio data and information flows between the research templates, company models, and strategic systems that underpin the investment team's process (e.g. Teams, OneNote, Bloomberg, HOLT and other font office systems);
  • Administrating research interactions and payments where appropriate;
  • Liaising with portfolio implementation, operations, and portfolio & risk analytics teams in ensuring a smooth functioning and execution of the portfolios;
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of the portfolio exposures, alerts, and checklists which contribute to the decision-making process;
  • Provide ad hoc technical support to help distribution teams and product specialist build TSS appropriate marketing collateral.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
  • Ideally CFA level 2 +;
  • Team player and ability to work independently;
  • 2-5 years' financial markets experience, preferably within a global equity team.
