VP/SVP, Investment Research

Main Responsibilities:-

• Assist management to establish, organize and maintain investment research function and production
• Analyse global economic and investment market trend with focus on mutual funds, bonds, FX products, securities and commodities
• Prepare regular research reports and ad-hoc news and strategy update in both written and visual formats
• Assist in quarterly portfolio construction and selecting focus funds
• Conduct regular market outlook briefings and trainings to uplift sales staff knowledge
• Collaborate with Portfolio Advisors and Investment Product team in outlining sales directions and preparing sales materials
• Conduct internal and external investment seminar to enhance the professional image of Wealth Management

Requirements:-

• Degree holder in Economics, Finance, BBA, Journalism or related discipline
• Holder of CFA is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years working experience in banking, finance, media or related industry, preferably with public speaking and writing experience
• Familiar with the investment market and a wide range of investment products with strong analytical and writing skills
• Be competent to present in public and conduct briefing for frontlines
• Good command in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
• Proactive, excellent team player with strong multi-tasking and organizational skill
• Qualifications in HKSI related area is preferable
