JUNIOR PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Job description
  • Manage a book of portfolios, ensure model conformity
  • Participate actively to the Bank's Investment Committee
  • Work with portfolio Managers and Private Bankers to identify prospective individual and groups of clients for Investment Management service and help them deliver the adequate solution
  • Identify client needs and objectives and match to service delivery capabilities
  • Communicate/deliver/close on client proposals
  • Identify new product opportunities/needs in the marketplace and communicate these to the appropriate product specialists
  • Ensure each client segment receives the appropriate level of service
  • Develop and constantly update market intelligence in order to meet/external standards of best practice
  • Assist the DPM team in perfoming required controls on portfolios
  • Work closely Portfolio Managers on the daily portfolio monitoring
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes
  • Ensure adherence to global internal and external standards of client service, KYC and risk and compliance
  • Adhere to agreed pricing strategies, contributing to their development as required
  • Share best practices within and across private banking, product and infrastructure teams

Profile required
  • Excellent market exposure and multidiscipline investment expertise
  • Strong investment and banking product knowledge
  • Appropriate technical/product/linguistic knowledge and skills for the Market covered
  • Sales and process driven
  • Demonstrable sucess in working seamlessly and effectively with private bankers and infrastructure specialists
  • Has operated successfully in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven familiarity with market information systems appropriate to asset classes covered (e.g. Bloomberg.)
  • Master in Economics, finance or financial engineering
  • CFA
  • Ability to code in VBA, excellent excel knowledge
  • Fluent English and French
