Business Overview
Our Global Corporate & Investment Banking business focuses on building long-term relationships with more than 3,000 large U.S. and multinational corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. We provide strong advisory expertise, capitalizing on powerful mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, treasury, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions.

Rates: Team members are called on to advise on interest rate risk management with regards to hedging strategies regarding FX risk and fixed/floating mix targets, collaborate across Capital Markets and M&A platform on new issue and strategic transactions, and regularly update and inform clients on relevant news and activity related to interest rates.

Currencies: Team members advise clients on currency risk management, which involves the execution of spot, forward and swap transactions, as well as a variety of options structures. Team members collaborate with partners across the firm, and regularly inform clients on relevant news and activity related to foreign exchange.

Other underlyings: Team members also advise clients in other underlyings such as credit and commodities as well as complex transactions involving a combination of the products above.

Job Description
VPs/Directors act as the primary contact to existing and target clients. They are responsible for targeting, marketing, pricing and executing transactions for clients across global regions & industries, working closely with trading and Banking. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Build/Deepen client relationships through regular contact, including in-person meetings, market updates via phone and email, client events, etc.
  • Develop new client relationships and focus on origination
  • Provide interest rate, currency, credit and commodities risk management advice to clients
  • Prepare client pitch materials, fixed/floating capital structure analysis, currency exposures, economic and market updates
  • Provide leadership within group
  • Work closely with our Global Corporate Banking, investment Banking, Risk and Global Markets Trading partners

Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting Latam Rates and Currencies
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience
  • MBA/CFA a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to be a key external and internal influencer
  • Ability to use initiative and work efficiently
  • Facilitate working in a team environment
  • Demonstrate strategic and creative thinking and distinguished communication skills
  • Ability to manage several
  • Fluency in Spanish
