Director or Partner – NAV Lending Solutions Group (NLS)
Los Angeles based investment firm seeks Director or Partner to join the firm to develop and lead a group focused on custom financing and capital solutions to hedge funds, private equity, and other private asset vehicles. Firm currently manages funds that acquire Limited Partnership Interests of hedge, private equity, private credit, real estate, and other funds in the secondary market as well as, manage multi-manager and direct credit funds. The NLS Group will focus on lending to underserved portions of the market, focusing on firm’s core competence and relationships among hedge funds, older vintage private equity funds, credit and special situation funds, co-investment vehicles, real estate funds and other opportunities where a GP is seeking capital to preserve and enhance value for existing LPs. The strategy is currently managed within our secondary-oriented and our credit strategy funds with plans to launch a stand-alone strategy within the next few years. Candidate will source, structure, and execute on opportunities as well as manage a team of analysts who will support the effort. Candidate should have a minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, at least 10 years of private markets investment experience, and preferably a track record of successfully sourcing and executing credit and credit-like transactions and good interpersonal skills. Location: preference for Southern California but will consider remote working arrangements.
