Position Summary: The Senior Investment Analyst operates as a key member of the ProManage Investment Team. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with the CEO, CIO and Leadership Team to identify investment opportunities, execute investment research, manager selection, asset allocation studies, fund performance monitoring, evaluation of fees and most effective structure for each investment, due diligence research, client reporting, and special projects designed to achieve our growth targets. This individual should possess strong command of investment management principles and leading practices, demonstrate deep understanding of global financial markets, and have an unparalleled ability to analyze, model, and synthesize complex information to both internal and external audiences. The Senior Investment Analyst will demonstrate a high degree of analytical prowess, curiosity, willingness to learn, and a strong ability to partner across the organization while continuing to elevate the profile of investment management function.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in an investment analyst position, with experience in asset allocation research and decision-making, along with experience in a trading, due diligence, or operational role for a financial services or retirement consulting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. CFA charter holder preferred or working towards CFA designation 
  • Facilitate fund and investment manager selection through rigorous deployment of leading practices, tools, and methods designed to enable independent, thoroughly examined and documented decisions 
  • Utilize financial data software to analyze portfolios and investments (e.g. mutual funds, et al), monitor changes in the investment process, and develop forecasts. Experience with Morningstar Direct, Matlab, and Python considered a plus
  • Deliver financial modeling, investment research, and due diligence on mutual funds, and other types of investment vehicles pertinent to retirement plans. Rebalance portfolios, and conduct attribution and holdings analyses  
  • Lead allocation research activities across various asset classes which will include both internal research as well as integration of outside sources to enhance investment decisions
  • Partner with the CIO to analyze, model, and synthesize complex information for client, vendor, and internal presentations
  • Research the topics from academic and industry resources on topics such as portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment management, decumulation, managed risk strategies and financial wellness
  • Proactively identify and educate the organization on relevant investment management industry trends; anticipate opportunities and maximize advantages through innovative investment strategies and methods
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage with clients at the executive level, build prospective relationships, and credibly represent the breadth and depth of our investment capabilities  
  • Possess a high proficiency in leading multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing workload and managing competing deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, lead without authority, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong competence in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as ability to analyze, interpret, and present data
