This well regarded and highly energised team are passionate about investing in small/medium sized private companies in order to deliver accelerated growth and positive outcomes to investors. They pride themselves as being both active and collaborative in approach adding value through strategy, people and networking as well as capital. In addition, they recognise the growing importance of responsible investing and keenly integrate Environmental, Social and Governance(ESG) assessments into their investment process.
Having successfully deployed and returned capital to investors, they are now at a natural inflection point in their lifecycle and as a result seek to appoint a Head of Distribution/Investor Relations.
As a key senior hire, you will report to and work alongside the founding partners in setting and executing the capital raising strategy of the firm. You will lead and maintain dialogue with existing as well as new potential sources of capital (Institutional, Wholesale and/or sophisticated investors - SMSF, Family Offices ,HNW, dealer groups/planners) .
Accountabilities to include: overseeing fundraising programs and initiatives (whether deal specific, separate institutional mandate or other) and ensuring an in-house best of breed client service offering on portfolio/fund performance.
Candidates will have sound academics (appropriate Tertiary qualification, CFA highly regarded, adviser compliant). You will have 8 + years' experience gained in a blue-chip financial services environment and possess the following :

- Existing and broad ranging set of relationships that have delivered investment flows in the past
- Ideally exposure to Private Equity or similar Alternative Asset class or if not, a clear interest and desire to commit to learn and understand this into the future
