What will you be doing?
• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of structured transactions and strategies to achieve sustainable returns for the firm
• Demonstrating a good knowledge of technical tax, accounting and regulatory matters, applying this knowledge to the transaction execution process
• Interpreting and taking accountability for short term, as well as long term transactions management and maintaining responsible risk management facility
• Understanding the factors that influence the risk positions and communicating these to senior team members
• Utilising cross-firm network and authoritative understanding to create good relationships with other teams
• Drafting materials and making presentations for senior members of STG and Tax to aid decision making
• Liaising with infrastructure functions on pipeline transactions and key initiatives
• Taking on responsibility for mentoring junior members of the desk, sharing the technical knowledge required to progress in the team
What we're looking for:
• Undergraduate degree
• Proven experience working in a transactional, structured finance team, within an investment bank, law firm or similar organization
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Master's or graduate degree and/ or CFA/ ACA/ ACCA or equivalent accreditation or experience
• Tax technical skills (specific to local jurisdiction)
• Accounting proficiency
• Experience managing/ reviewing legal documentation process, with knowledge of UK Tax Law

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
