Monument Group is currently hiring an Analyst and an Associate/Senior Associate; both of these roles represent an opportunity for an individual to become a key contributor on the Monument Group Analytics Team, working with senior investment professionals in performing due diligence (quantitative and qualitative), portfolio analytics and industry research. The position entails interacting with Monument Group’s General Partner clients to complete due diligence materials and respond to institutional investor due diligence requests.  The Analyst and Associate/Senior Associate may also assist in performing due diligence on prospective Monument Group clients.  

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct due diligence activities related to potential and existing clients for the marketing of funds, co-investments and other structures across various alternative asset classes
  • Work closely with clients to compile due diligence and marketing materials for use by potential investors
  • Conduct industry market research & statistical analysis
  • Evaluate performance of potential new clients, contribute to team discussions on new business opportunities

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree with a strong track record of academic excellence; CAIA or CFA designation, or desire to pursue a similar designation, preferred
  • Previous work experience: One to four years relevant professional experience depending on the role; limited partner, consultant/gatekeeper, fund-of-funds or investor relations experience preferred
  • Series 7 and Series 63 license required within 6 months of employment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; modeling skills a plus
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial, team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hard-working self-starter with time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, general business articles, professional journals, etc.
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
