We Offer
Work at the fault-lines of business and technology to drive solutions to complex data analytics problems. You will work with Sales, Trading, Quant and Product Managers to elicit the functional and non-functional requirement, partner with technology owners, architects and quality assurance teams to build world-class data management and analytics pipelines.
Key responsibilities:
• Liaise with key partners to gain and validate requirements based on product vision and roadmap.
• Develop and maintain project artefacts such as data models and dictionaries, data flow diagrams, project planning and status updates.
• Conduct advanced analysis on data in Equities order management systems, in order to help with technical specifications for MI & analytics projects.
• Conduct complex data analysis, in particular looking at the aggregation of large data sets from multiple sources.
• Write technical specs on the consolidation of multiple data sets.
• Maintain product backlog ensuring a prioritized pipeline of work is available ahead of time.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Development and Ops teams to proactively consider the data needs of end users.
• Review outputs with developers and the test team ensuring the final delivered solution meets the desired business objectives.

You Offer

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • MBA or Bachelors/Masters in Technology with background of finance
  • 10+ years of experience in the similar industry
  • Certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst are preferred
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Domain expertise in Equities trading data management
  • Track record of collecting requirements and translating them into user stories
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL, Excel for data manipulation
  • Experience of maintaining a backlog of requirements in a central repository such as JIRA
  • Ability to facilitate workshops
  • Solid understanding of MI/analytics data leverage practices
  • Experience of working with databases such as Oracle/Sybase/Snowflake/Impala Hive
  • Proactive, self-motivated and flexible with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and challenging deadlines
  • Should be able to work independently and within team
  • Good teammate with excellent work ethic
  • Experience of working in agile teams
  • Nice to have skills:
  • Data management/analysis using Python/R
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica/Alteryx
  • An understanding of technical architecture of complex data applications and web technologies such as RESTful APIs to craft and understand the requirements process
  • Knowledge of large data processing using Python/R
