We Offer
The candidate will be an integral part of the CSAM Asian fixed income investment team providing discretionary investment management services to institutional clients, family-offices and UHNWIs. The position is based in Hong Kong.

  • A challenging position in a fast growing Asian fixed income team focusing on coordinating on the funds/portfolios related communication with institutional and private bank clients or prospects
  • Prepare and update various representation and marketing materials for client review meetings and pitching purposes
  • Play a coordination role for roadshows and marketing meetings for PMs
  • Build trustful relationship with all involved parties and act as the internal specialist where relevant
  • Seek to ensure high quality of service and coordinate timely responses to client or prospect queries
  • Support the sales efforts of our various internal and distribution channels
  • Direct client contact including pitching - personal sales efforts are requested
  • Attend and assist with the fixed income portfolio managers' regular strategy meetings in order to fully understand portfolio positioning and market views
  • Manage dedicated Asian credit investment grade and high yield portfolios
  • Conduct ongoing research to track key competitors, market trends and threats
  • Look for and feedback new business opportunities within fixed income

  • A minimum 7 years of experience in Asian fixed income either as a portfolio manager, product specialist, specialized institutional coverage, research analyst, or a similar role
  • Outstanding Asian fixed income asset class, strategy and market knowledge is required
  • Prior direct Asian investment grade and high yield investment experience is an advantage
  • Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal ability with the ability to build strong positive relationships with team members, partners and our clients
  • Experience in dealing with institutional clients and professional investors (UHNWIs)
  • Good relationship with private banks, external clients, and distribution channels is a plus
  • Strong team-player, adopt a collaborative and open working culture
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timeline
  • Relevant academic background with preferably a Master's degree in Business, Finance or a quantitative field
  • CFA, FRM and/or CAIA designations are highly desirable
  • Robust analytical problem solving skills and a thorough understanding of performance and risk metrics
  • Proficient in MS office applications (PowerPoint, Excel) and Bloomberg
  • Strong work ethic and the highest degree of honesty and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working to deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
