Your new role
Your role will be to manage and mentor a high performing M&A team to help clients execute complex M&A and capital market transactions. You're duties will include:
- Drive the delivery of financial due diligence engagements including the preparation of data-centric analysis and dashboards
- Partner with leading Australian private and listed corporates, global enterprises, private equity firms and Government departments
- Develop deep understandings of businesses through analysis of historical trading, quality of earnings, cash flow ect.
- Work directly with Directors and Partners in more complex areas of the transaction with direct exposure to sale agreements
- Report on potential key opportunities and issues for your clients
- Assist the partners in business development, proposals and client events
What you'll need to succeed
- CA, CPA, CFA, MBA or Masters in Applied Finance
- 5+ years experience in a big 4 Audit environment OR experience in a second/mid tier firm in Mergers and Acquisitions
- Structured thinking style and financial skills to support complex transactions
- Experience in completing financial due diligence assignments
- Exposure to or interest in broader deal/transaction processes
- Coaching and team management skills
