Senior Investment Associate - Manager Research

Role & Responsibilities:

Managing client portfolios, assuming responsibility for execution of agreed trades, client reporting and managing client queries.
Work closely with the CIO in setting the investment research agenda and support him in managing priorities
Broad investment scope covering Equities, Credit, HF, PE, VC, manager DD & co-investments
Growing and monitoring the investment platform
There will be an expectation that in time the candidate will also support the business development effort by assisting with the creation of prospect meeting materials and participating in prospect meetings

Education & Qualifications:

Strong team player able to work in small organisation that is moving at fast pace
Very strong inter-personal skills
3-5 years minimum experience in a relevant background (e.g. investment banking, strategy consulting, accountancy, asset management)
Strong academic background, up to degree level, ideally also a CFA but not essential
Some knowledge of multi-asset class investing / alternative investments ideally would be helpful but not essential
Preference for candidates with previous client facing experience in managing / dealing with complex strategies and concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint
