We Offer
This role in the Commodities Team will be to broadly support all areas of the business, while gaining skills or knowledge about portfolio management, client development, business development, trading, operations, risk management and product structuring.
  • Conduct both quantitative and fundamental research to support portfolio investment decisions
  • Work with other team members who specialize in areas such as trading and client servicing, to provide information, analysis, or other tasks to assist in those areas.
  • Strengthen your knowledge of investment management theory and use this to perform special projects and research.

Your future colleagues
The Commodities team is responsible for managing more than $6 billion of derivatives-based commodity strategies throughout the US, Europe and Asia for institutional, high net worth and retail clients. The team has a successful multi-decade track record of managing enhanced and active strategies, using both quantitative and fundamental research. Vehicles include registered and private funds and institutional separate accounts, with long-only and hedge fund styles. You Offer

We are looking for an applicant with Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees in mathematics or statistics preferably.
  • Detailed knowledge of finance and mathematics, with an eagerness to understand financial markets and asset management
  • Financial programming experience is preferred, with Matlab and SQL experience offering an advantage, but strong skills in other programming with an ability to learn Matlab and SQL is also possible.
  • Detailed understanding of portfolio theory and statistics is preferred.
  • Work independently and have strong communications skills
  • CFA and FRM program participants preferred; no Series licenses necessary
