What you will be responsible for
As Assistant Vice President-Analyst you will:
- Assist account officer in due diligence and credit underwriting process, including preparing credit approval applications to assess the creditworthiness of the borrower, identify key transaction risks, and articulate clear and concise credit recommendations;
- Conduct ongoing credit surveillance on existing portfolio exposures, including preparing annual reviews and internal risk ratings;
- Support account officers with the preparation of competitive bids for new and retention business while meeting client-driven procurement requirements;
- Collaborate with internal and external deal teams to effectively manage transaction closings and maintain up-to-date legal files;
- Assist business team in producing insightful, actionable analytics (incl. return on capital, portfolio forecasting) to inform decision-making on business and product strategy; and
- Take ownership of projects, prepare presentations/portfolio reporting and complete administrative tasks to support account officers as needed.

- A positive, execution-oriented attitude and a client service mindset.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Bloomberg and Salesforce360 are desirable.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or liberal arts.
- MBA and/or CFA designation or candidacy is a plus.
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial lending experience; municipal market experience is desirable.
