The Missouri State Employees' Retirement System is currently accepting applications for the position of Chief Investment Officer. This position will be available due to the anticipated retirement of the current CIO, a long-term employee of the System.
The CIO reports directly to the Executive Director and has primary responsibility for developing the overall implementation strategy for the $9.1 billion investment program consistent with the asset allocation and other policies established by the MOSERS Board of Trustees. The CIO utilizes both internal and external investment strategies, including hiring external money managers, in order to implement the program.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of institutional investment experience, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, or closely related field, and leadership experience. A master’s degree and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is strongly preferred.
To ensure consideration apply by April 30, 2021, but the position will stay open until filled.
