Role Overview:

The iShares Global Product Marketing team is leading our effort to transform distribution in a constantly evolving asset management industry, through developing & scaling globally consistent messages to drive product segment growth. We are hiring a highly motivated individual to help lead product marketing for BlackRock's EMEA-listed ETFs and index funds. This individual will help drive the EMEA product marketing strategy and define the key messaging for our fastest growing product segments. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Insights: In close collaboration with partners across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy, develop and drive the integrated scaled distribution strategy for our iShares ETFs. This requires assessing commercial opportunities, deriving competitive messaging insights, and partnering closely with Product and Marketing to influence strategic launches and campaigns.
  • Messaging and content: Develop messaging and key narratives for priority product segments, including sustainable, fixed income, and thematics. In partnership with Product, develop a strategy for content and messaging to support commercial opportunities. Create high-impact, client-tailored web pages and content for use through scaled distribution tactics and sales engagements. Partner with sales to help refine and scale messaging to clients. Responsible for ensuring consistency of message across distribution channels, as well as partnering with the active product marketing team to ensure a consistent BlackRock narrative.
  • Launches: In close collaboration with partners in Product, drive the product launch and thought leadership activation strategy.
Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years of experience in product, strategy, sales, product marketing, corporate communications and/or directly relevant role
  • Strong commercial market awareness, client acumen and intellectual curiosity
  • Driven and self-motivated with the ability to own and execute on a range of initiatives at once, leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with excellent written, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, with an agile and creative mind; demonstrates critical thinking and an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Highly collaborative nature and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • High energy, intensity, discipline and attention to detail
  • The highest level of integrity and fiduciary orientation
  • Bachelor's degree; history of academic and professional achievement
  • CFA preferred
