Own and independently design and implement various portfolio risk reporting modules in BlackRock Aladdin (including, but not limited to contribution, attribution, factor risk exposures, economic stress tests, holdings based data aggregation, liquidity analysis, portfolio tracking error and turnover) according to the needs of various stakeholders (trading, portfolio management, compliance)

Responsibilities
- Chair and conduct periodic meetings for the Investment Risk Advisory Group to review investment portfolios
- Provide objective correspondence to the Investor Solutions executive team
- Maintain and further develop the investment risk dashboard
- Track and maintain risk tolerances for all portfolios
- Daily monitor and oversight of the bank collective funds
- Produce reports and conduct stress and liquidity tests, performance and risk attribution, exposure analysis, allocation optimization etc
- Cultivate adhoc investment risk research using quantitative analysis to bolster Investor Solutions risk mitigation efforts
- Ad-hoc projects in support of the Investor Solutions build out.
- Own Performance and Risk Assumptions and be responsible for ensuring that they are properly implemented across all platforms.
- In depth Understanding of the risks involved with Multi Asset Management, Model Management, Portfolio Construction and OCIO.
- Oversee build out of Counterparty Risk function
- Heavy involvement in other risk functions, such as operational risk and liquidity risk.
- Role has significant upside to build and run the risk team globally within Investor Solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would need to be willing to take ownership of the build out of the Investment Risk role across the various business lines within Investor Solutions, working closely with traders, portfolio managers, operations, compliance and other teams within Investor Solutions.
Desired attributes:
- Experience using BlackRock Aladdin.
- Strong technical skills including Excel, Python, R, SQL and Bloomberg.
- Willingness to 'roll up sleeves' and build out
- Progress towards CFA, CAIA, FRM or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
- Buys side experience with in depth buy/hold Investment Risk knowledge
