EMEA EII (iShares & Index) Product Strategy & Analytics

Product Strategy & Analytics Hub

Our Product Strategists are a critical component of our investment success. They are product specialists who play a central role in helping clients understand the iShares platform and investment process. We are building a Product Strategy & Analytics team in Budapest that will serve as a central component to the iShares Product Strategy support to clients. They will work directly with the Equity Product Strategy teams based in London, covering the breadth of the equity platform including; core, precision, factor and ESG ETFs and index mutual funds. The team will focus on delivering a scaled Product Strategy platform in support of our clients and commercial areas of focus.

ROLE PROFILE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Closely follow global markets and be up to date on events and movements
  • Build and innovate infrastructure using BlackRock technology to support fund and market analytics and client support
  • Liaise with Product Strategy teams to support client queries and analysis, including performance attribution at product or index level
  • Support the delivery of index insights and analytics including ESG
  • Support competitor analytics and product positioning to generate new business, including ETFs, Index Funds and Delta 1 instruments (Futures / Swaps)
  • Liaise with Product Strategy Teams to maintain product pitchbooks and other standard client collateral
  • Gather and report flows and performance to deliver market insight and analysis
  • Gather and deploy fund holders data to identify commercial opportunities
  • Help enhance existing processes with new ideas/automation and developing best practices across Product Strategy Teams
You should have:
  • BA/BS required with degrees in quantitative, finance or economics disciplines preferred
  • CFA, MBA, IMC and/or FRM or a desire to pursue these is welcome
  • Desire to learn about the Investment Management industry
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; additional European languages are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency around deadlines and an ability to multitask
  • High proficiency in Excel, with ability to manipulate data in a spreadsheet (knowledge of macros) and PowerPoint, with ability to create appealing slides for clients/investors.
  • Experience with Python, R or other coding languages or software development is an advantage
  • Ability to effectively combine outputs from different sources of technology/systems
  • Strong interest in working with financial data platforms like Aladdin, MPI, Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet.
