Responsibilities
  • Supervise a small team in HK at corporate level and functionally manage Finance Department in different locations in China.
  • Provide leadership on financial accounting, control, reporting, tax planning, and treasury functions, etc.
  • Update accounting standards and FRR reporting requirements according to market standards and SFC requirements.
  • Ensure all the deliverables are in compliance with local statutory requirement and SFC reporting requirements. Ensure the accounting and finance procedures are in compliance with accounting and SFC regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process and liaise with auditors and external regulators including tax, company secretary.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts for company and its affiliates.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, economics, business is required; advanced degrees, including HKCPA, ACCA or CFA
  • Minimum 6+ years professional work experience in accounting and/or treasury; audit experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience
  • Strong communication, excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Experience in financial institutions or fintech companies is a MUST
  • High level of integrity, excellent interpersonal & communication skills and
  • Excellent management and coaching skills
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Finance Manager
