Our client, a leading Multi-Strategy Funds Manager, is seeking to add a talented, passionate and commercially astute Investment Analyst to their Sydney team.
The role will focus on several businesses and will include:
- Undertaking industry & company analysis including the analysis of markets, industries, business structures & strategies and financial outcomes
- Assessing risk
- Formulating operating & financial forecasts
- Assessment of valuation
This is a unique opportunity to surround yourself in a leading firm in the investment industry. Key characteristics that would be desirable for this position include a passion for investment, a positive can-do mentality, a willingness to challenge orthodoxy, comfort with debating complex ideas and respect for the views and opinions of others.
The successful candidate is likely to have between 3-5 years' experience with a leading Bulge Bracket Investment Bank from either General Industries, Financial Institutions or TMT coverage groups; will possess strong fundamental financial analysis and financial modelling skills with a demonstrable passion for investment and a track record of success. You will have outstanding academics in your chosen discipline, which ideally includes a CFA or Post-Graduate Degree.
