The FactSet Sydney Sales team are looking for a commercially driven Sales Representative. Working as a generalist sales professional you will drive client engagement and continue to build C- Level industry relationships, leveraging from our product specialists team and our highly skilled consulting team you will represent our full product suite within the Financial Services industry. Your book of business will comprise of existing and new business and you will work towards an individual target.

Responsibilities
- Uncover and capture opportunities for business growth within existing clients and new business.
- Diligently maintain the sales cycle from prospecting to trial to closing new deals.
- Prospecting into FactSet core and non-core industries. Uncovering new opportunities that FactSet is not present in
- Actively work with other teams (consultants, specialists, product management) to generate ideas for new sales and supporting existing clients. Coordinate client activity and involve other teams where relevant.
- Collaborate with product development to provide feedback on prospective client needs and competitive analysis.
- Develop a universal knowledge of the FactSet platform to facilitate product demonstrations to new and existing clients;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain a competitive edge and formulate sales strategy.
- Build relationships with C-suite within existing and prospective client firms.
- Generate ideas for sales campaigns and actively participate in existing and new sales initiatives.
- Be a team player and bring strong positive energy to the team. Support growth of colleagues. Lead by example.
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Financial industry
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- FactSet product knowledge preferred
- Broad and up-to-date knowledge of the financial technology industry including trends and market demands
- Proven ability to identify and close new sales
- Collaborative team player with a strong sense for creating a positive customer experience to clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations
