We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Product Proposition, Pensions.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Analyzing the development of the Pensions, ORSO and MPF, market and customer needs by conducting product comparison and market research to provide recommendation for the formation of business and product strategy and proposition
  • Play a key part in ensuring consistency in the Pension product offering and strategy are in line with the overall HSBC Wealth Management proposition
  • Support the Pensions business and Insurer to work with the Trustee and Fund managers for the on-going monitoring of fund performance, identify improvement needs and monitor such implementation
  • Overseeing the development of the regular investment educational materials, for example, ensure the disclosures of market outlook and fund specific commentary are appropriately presented and in line with the market conditions and our customer needs
  • Liaison with all stakeholders including but not limited to the Bank, Insurer, Trustee, Fund managers and Administrator to lead and drive the end-to-end product development, review and on-going monitoring process from product concept, feasibility studies, regulatory approval and implementation
  • Lead and execute statutory-related product changes in Pensions
  • Preparation of product collaterals including client communication materials, FAQ and the final output of offering document for fulfillment of product launch

Requirements
  • University graduate
  • Solid years of experience in the pension, wealth management or insurance industry with management level experience
  • Hands on experience in the product development and proposition function preferably in pension, wealth management or insurance industry
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, especially written skill, and influencing skills to interact with senior management and subordinates, internal and external stakeholders at all level
  • Ability to pay attention to details, especially those in relation to product implementation timeline and associated risks, including regulatory risks
  • Candidate with professional qualification with CFP or CFA; or
  • Experience in product development projects inclusive of implementation and regulatory approval for Pensions product changes will have added advantage
