About the team and role

The role will involve strong financial sense and negotiation skills to develop the liability end of Vivriti business by cultivating and fostering relationships with external stakeholders to raise funds for Vivriti’ s balance sheet. The individual will be directly involved in the fund raise process while engaging with a host of lenders, rating agencies and legal advisors.

Primary responsibilities

  • Reach out to potential investors - Banks, Mutual Funds, Family Offices, Wealth Managers, Insurance Companies, etc. to pitch
  • About the company and on-board them. Negotiate pricing and other terms of the sanction and coordination of transaction execution and closure Preparation of Financial Models, Information Memorandum and Presentations.
  • Manage and lead the identification and approach to Private Banks & PSUs, NBFCs, mutual funds, insurance companies & other debt investors; including identification of overseas funding sources
  • Build on relationships with existing investors, preparing reports to meet deadlines and submitting further applications for funding
  • Prepare financial models for fundraising opportunities & manage the credit rating agencies
  • Understand due diligence requests from prospective investors, research and gather necessary information and prepare a comprehensive response
  • Produced detailed annual action plans on specific areas of responsibility outlined above, identifying areas for growth and development, outlining measurable objectives
  • Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths.

Required Skills

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly complex financial control and fund raising at corporate level
  • In depth understating of banking environment, treasury function, treasury products, regulatory and liquidity reporting skill
  • Experience in Balance sheet Regulatory reporting/ statistical reporting.
  • Ability to anticipate and identify areas for business, potential problems and demonstrate a proven track record in solving complex
  • and ambiguous issues
  • Identify investors, originate fundraising process from various investors and onboard them
  • Successfully raised funds from LPs (Family offices, pension funds, Funds of Fund etc.)
  • Drive legal negotiation/documentation with funding counterparties alongside counsel
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of information before sharing with investors
  • Experience of managing a team of finance professionals
  • Experience of working and building strong business relationships in a changing environment
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
