Position Overview:
The Global Business Development Associate will focus on institutional and private client business development opportunities in Asia. The associate will work with Investment Directors in Singapore and business development colleagues globally, to support all aspects of business development within Asia. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills as the associate will communicate directly with investment professionals at endowments and foundations, pension plans, government funds and family offices as well as internally with CA investment teams, and senior management of the firm.

Job Responsibilities:
- Research business opportunities in the region; work in partnership with Investment Directors on new business development efforts
- Participate on calls to fully understand the needs of prospective clients and ensure those needs are reflected in any presentations to those prospective clients
- Help create, produce, and submit high-quality Request for Proposal (RFP) responses; prepare responses to follow-up questions
- Draft communications to prospects
- Prepare content and exhibits for presentations and proposals as needed
- Work with investment teams on any preparation or follow-up with prospective clients
- Coordinate preparation for prospective client meetings, whether at the institution's offices or at the offices of Cambridge Associates
- Support follow-up efforts to ensure that client or prospective client's questions or issues are being addressed in a timely manner
- Maintain information in CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and analytics
- Work across the Global Business Development group on cross-company initiatives
Qualifications:
- BA/BS and 1-5 years of business development experience in the investment management or broader financial services industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize responsibilities
- Self-motivated and collaborative; able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in Mandarin required to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients and prospects
- Progress toward or interest in the CFA or CAIA program is a plus
- Must be eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship
