Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- To lead the investment team to conduct industry research on different economies and sectors, evaluate current and historical financial data;
- To conduct investment research for bonds & funds investments including both investment grade and high yield credits on financial products including but not limited to HY bonds, convertible bonds, funds, equities, etc.;
- To examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to formulate short, medium and long investment strategies;
- To product independent research reports for the company;
- To provide in-depth analysis on bonds and funds investment strategies;
- To responsible for financial modelling, business valuation and make investment recommendations to investment committee;
- To conduct due diligence reports on product providers and funds;
- To monitor the existing investments and deliver timely review report;
- Liaise with fund managers and network with industry professionals;
- Actively dialogue and develop relationship with listed companies;
- Actively monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products;
- To compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios;
- Other ad hoc duties
Requirements:
- BS degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Accounting;
- Chartered member of CFA is preferred;
- Proven at least 8 years' working experience as Investment analyst in financial services companies or fund houses;
- Strong analytical thinking and quantitative skills, good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills;
