Position Description

The Senior Vice President:  Product Manager – Investor Relations professional will be an integral member of the AACP team reporting to Robert Adler, the CFO /COO of AACP.  Certain key initiatives and responsibilities include:

• Working with AACP Manager affiliates, external counsel, administrators and other third party vendors and internal Azimut resources to create investment vehicles and products that can be sold through Azimut and AACP distribution channels
• Creating and implementing processes for distributing investment vehicles and products to Azimut and AACP distribution including creating and producing marketing materials, and providing access to investment specific documents and subscription to investment vehicles
• Acting as the primary liaison for AACP Affiliate managers, investor prospects, existing clients, Azimut worldwide salesforce and AACP for information about AACP and Affiliate manager products
• Assisting the salesforce (AACP and Azimut) with your understanding of the investment product AND assisting the portfolio management team with your knowledge of clients and the marketing process – in all cases to further the goal of gathering and retaining assets.  This will require communicating with and traveling (in a post-covid environment) to constituents throughout the world.
• Gathering and synthesizing market intelligence about managers, investment trends, potential investment vehicles and client prospects through a variety of subscription and news services

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in product management at an institutional asset management or private equity investment firm.  Importantly, the candidate must have interests in investments, marketing and private markets and be challenged by the opportunity to create and grow products for AACP and its Affiliate managers.  He/she will have an exceptional work ethic and a background reflecting a high level of academic and professional achievement.  It is important that the successful candidate can demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability, an attention to detail, analytic ability and knowledge of investment strategies in addition to being pragmatic, a self-starter, highly organized, friendly and a team player.  CFA Charterholder a plus, but not required.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong proactive communication skills – both written and oral – and be able to interact with all levels of Azimut, our Affiliate Managers, and clients and prospects.  He/she must be proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and be able to navigate and update external databases and other data sources. 

COVID-19 Approach

AACP will not require its employees to be physically present in the office until the team has been vaccinated; and even then, individual concerns will be taken into consideration.  As of early 2021, the majority of the team works remotely full-time.
