Position Description:

Over the past 24+ months, PIMCO has undergone significant change in the realm of digital readiness. As part of a global digital transformation initiative spearheaded by Technology and Marketing, PIMCO has built the stage to enable personalized client-centric experiences. The firm is seeking an Adobe Marketo Engage Expert to lead high-priority marketing automation implementation projects and ongoing Marketo Engage platform support. This role will sit on the Marketing Platforms team and will regularly interface with a large, cross-functional team of marketing technologists, engineers, solution architects, marketing strategists, and digital marketing specialists to help bring digital client experiences to life.

  • Help drive the marketing automation transformation roadmap and support the development phases, including requirements gathering, design/development, process optimization, testing, configuration
  • Lead discovery efforts to gather necessary information from clients and internal team members to appropriately understand business needs and solution requirements for lead management and B2B digital marketing efforts
  • Ability to design, build, and troubleshoot solutions compatible with the Adobe Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics (and other third-party tools), including process optimization, database architectures, and custom integrations
  • Assist with evaluating new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
  • Guide, educate, and collaborate with global marketing teams to support marketing automation adoption and ensure we maximize our investments in this space and across teams

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years 'best practices' experience in a consulting or marketing/sales operations capacity, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Marketo subject matter expert (Marketo Certified Expert a plus) and solutions architecture experience
  • Successful track record of multiple Marketo implementations and setup of core system infrastructure programs, including lead lifecycle, scoring, campaign/source tracking, nurture, data management, and third-party integrations.
  • Provide support to engineering teams working on Marketo integrations
  • Create Marketo Engage architecture and technical specifications documents
  • Work closely with the project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous platform-related projects and change controls
  • Provide support to senior team members throughout project estimation and Marketing Automation discovery / road-mapping engagements, as needed
  • Experience evaluating new technologies and add-on applications to help boost marketing automation performance
  • Expert knowledge of marketing technologies and industry best practices
  • Solid understanding of workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keep projects on time, and flexibility to adapt quickly
  • Experience with Marketo/CRM Integration (Microsoft Dynamics strong advantage)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail a must
