- Undertake investor education activities to publicise and promote Bond Connect, manage investor relations and oversee onboarding
- Manage relations and support Bond Connect promotion initiatives with key Bond Connect stakeholders, including regulators, infrastructural providers, custodians, industry groups etc.
- Support Bond Connect scheme development initiatives including ePrime through adoption of underwriters and issuers; strong contribution to brainstorming, facilitation of investor client feedback collection to derivatives and other future scheme enhancement
- Assist in formulating and executing client development strategy to maximise client adoption and usage of Bond Connect
- Coordinate strategic development, creative development, media plans and tactical execution for promotional efforts
- Engage in the brainstorming, creation and execution of marketing initiatives in partnership with senior management
- Perform sales and marketing objectives, and diligent analysis of effectiveness and adherence of such objectives for regular updates to senior management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in reputable financial institutions on a sales/client facing capacity and/or in primary market infrastructure organisations
- Master/University degree, preferably in a Finance related subject. MBA/CFA qualification is a plus
- Sound knowledge of the China bond market and prior experience in handling sales/client relationship in initiatives related to foreign access to Chinese capital markets are highly considered
- Strong relationships with onshore/offshore banks/market makers, underwriters, issuers, asset managements & other financial institutions, and custodians are highly considered
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Putonghua on professional level
- Self-motivated; self-starter; strong leadership ability
- Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills
