Program Lead - Wholesale Credit Digitization & Strategy

The ICG Client Analytics (ICGA) organization within Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is looking for a full-time Director to join as a program lead for digitization and analytics strategic initiatives in wholesale credit. The ICGA team was created to develop and maintain consistent client metrics, segmentation and insights across ICG businesses and regions, and to work with ICG businesses to improve client management based on those metrics and insights. It is responsible for the implementation of cross-divisional client metrics, including revenue, expense allocation, profitability and market share, as well as client segmentation based on past performance, opportunity and client feedback. This role focuses on managing and leading various strategic initiatives within credit analysis, risk ratings and analytics space that drive our decision-making when extending credit. The role intersects and collaborates with three major ICG organizations; Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory (BCMA), ICG Risk Management (ICG) and Quantitative Risk & Stress Testing (QRS). Key Responsibilities

• Strategize go-forward vision for credit analysis platforms, risk ratings infrastructure and continuous monitoring digitization capabilities
• Provide thought leadership on leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization, including but not limited to financial analytics, data visualization and advanced reporting capabilities for credit decision making and monitoring by BCMA and ICG Risk
• Re-define QRS model landscape by evaluating current spread of debt rating models, scorecards, and spreading templates
• Manage multiple projects effectively - define scope, direct and prioritize resources, deliver on time and generate the best outcome
• Strong presence / ability to liaise with internal heads of businesses and risk portfolio leads and manage multiple demands
• Partner on multiple regulatory and control priorities including responding to regulatory, Audit and FCR's findings
• Connect the dots with other lending digitization efforts to ensure enterprise-wide consistency in various lines of business
• Manages program team which could include matrix management of senior program manager-level and other staff, as appropriate

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience, ideally with some years in internal or external consulting / strategy roles
• Demonstrated influencing and negotiating ability, resolve conflicts amongst various constituencies
• Prior experience in executing transformative initiatives in Banking, especially Corporate Banking, Risk Management and Risk Ratings Analytics
• Deep understanding of policies governing extension of credit, risk ratings, controls and underlying systems
• Proven ability to effectively engage with internal control functions including Internal Audit and Fundamental Credit Risk as well as with external audit
• Strong awareness of organizational complexity and operating models within wholesale credit across Institutional Clients Group, Commercial Bank and the Private Bank
• Conversant in corporate finance
• Project/program management experience
