- Responsible for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting;
- Designing and implementing the company's financial strategy and hiring needs;
- Coordinate the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting against the same;
- Drive the company's financial planning (prepare reliable current and forecasting reports);
- Monitor performance with appropriate tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting for the management team;
- Oversee all finance operations, including billing in accordance with contracts, debt collection, vendor payments, and staff payments;
- Manage customer relationships from a financial perspective;
- Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system;
- Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies;
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyse internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement;
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments;
- Raising debt, negotiating with banks;
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the operations;
- Manage and lead the Finance function and all finance personnel.
Perfil ideal
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Management or similar;
- MBA can be a plus;
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices;
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning;
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods;
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP);
- Experience in implementing ERP and BI;
- Ability to strategize and solve problems;
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions;
- Working knowledge of raising capital beyond traditional lines of credit;
- International experience (including setting up subsidiaries);
- Strong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication and people skills;
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
- Excellent command of Portuguese and English languages;
- Audit experience with big 4 is preferred.
