Victory Capital’s Product Analyst has the responsibility for the creation, organizing and distributing timely and relevant information across all of Victory’s investment franchise and Victory Solutions products to be shared internally with the Intermediary, Institutional and Direct to Investor sales channels.  This position will work closely with sales, marketing and investment professionals to carefully curate strategic and tactical content including digital tools, research, articles, training materials, speaking points, competitor intel and rebuttals to support our sales and retention efforts across our various sales channels

The Product Analyst will serve to aide in the solution positioning across all Victory Capital mutual funds, ETFs, CITs and separately managed accounts.  Thus, position will partner with sales in collaborative fashion while providing technical information on Victory’s offerings while demonstrating a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape, financial markets and industry related topics.  This requires the ability to support and explain the relationship between all market related factors and product positioning and performance results.

Key Objectives

  • Leadership role in the development of messaging across Victory’s solution set (MFs / ETFs / SMAs)
  • Supports product positioning in collaboration with investment franchises and Victory Solutions and all sales channels
  • Partner with the heads of Victory’s distribution channels to identify areas of opportunities
  • Assesses and analyzes markets, segments and competition to develop unique differentiation elements
  • Manages the collection and distribution of investment solution related intel
  • Ability to adapt messaging and communication efforts based upon rapidly changing market conditions
  • Develops market development strategies, selling methodologies and alternative approaches to positioning
  • Serves to champion product messaging, changes and enhancements through the various business units
  • Serve as a product level expert and resource throughout the organization

Desired Skills & Experience

The successful candidate should have the following experience: 

  • 10+ years of industry experience with proven track record of success
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills combined with strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to drive objectives autonomously while also working well as member of collaborative team
  • Experience with multiple investment management styles and asset classes is critical
  • Deep understanding of investment managers and how they position themselves in marketplace
  • Solid understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation, investment theory and performance measurement
  • Knowledge of the equity, fixed income and alternative investment markets
  • Working knowledge of various industry databases:  Morningstar, eVestment, Zephyr, FactSet or similar
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required and CFA®, or significant progress towards, is preferred
