Job description:

Your team

  • To assist the deputy CEO with all managerial, commercial and operational matters.
  • To deliver strategic and tactical impact to FPS Europe by facilitating awareness of bottom-up needs, implementation of top-down initiatives and horizontal functional coordination.

Your role

Management

  • Coordinating senior-management committees:
    • On Fund Operations matters by coordinating the operational platforms.
    • On FPS Europe governance by liaising between Fund Operations teams and other FPS Europe departments (Domiciliation, Investment Management Oversight, Risk Management, Compliance, etc.).
  • Coordinating HR-related matters in Fund Operations as required, as well as with the other FPS Europe departments to ensure consistency and a harmonised approach.


Clients, products, markets

  • Identifying and assisting with business development opportunities for FPS Europe.
  • Acting as the entry point to FPS for business lines (PAM, PAA, PWM and PAS).


Operational expertise

  • Helping to escalate concerns and questions raised by the Fund Operations management committee.
  • Serving as a sounding board for Operations arbitrage and priorities.


Finance

  • Assisting with financial activities of FPS Europe: P&L monitoring and the budget process (e.g. IT investment needs).
  • Identification and monitoring of actions aimed at optimising FPS Europe's P&L.


Cross-disciplinary projects

  • Assisting with key cross-disciplinary projects such as the operating model review and regulatory compliance, with a specific focus on cross-team coordination both within and outside of FPS Europe.
  • Acting as the point of contact with Tech teams.


Audit, Risk & Compliance

  • Coordinating audit reviews and due diligence exercises with Fund Operations.
  • Ensuring that all audit recommendations assigned to the Deputy CEO / COO are handled within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Acting as a representative of the deputy CEO for various roles (e.g. supervision of delegated activities, quality).

Your profile

  • High-impact project management skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to create strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, establishing yourself as a credible and effective sparring partner.
  • Highly energetic and resourceful problem-solver with a strong desire to "make a difference" and engage others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, sense of diplomacy and tact in conveying information about sensitive issues.
  • Proven analytical and numerical skills.
  • Transparency to all parties, excellence in delivery, mutual trust.
  • Strong sense of ethics, aligned with Pictet's values and partnership culture.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in project management or management consulting, ideally within the industry.
  • Operational experience in funds would be a plus.
  • Post-graduate degree such as a Master's, MBA or CFA.
  • Fluency in English and French.
