Citi Retail FX business is a key component of the Wealth Management business for Citi Global Consumer Bank (GCB) serving clients across 17 markets in Asia and Europe. Clients include emerging affluent (Citi Priority), affluent (Citigold) and high net worth (Citi Private Clients) who trade across a spectrum of products offered include 1) FX Spot 2) FX Forwards 2) Margin FX 3) Loan Swaps 4) Premium Accounts 5) Exotic Premium Accounts 6) OTC Options.

Key Responsibilities:
Regional FX Trading Product Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of FX Trading Products, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management. This role will require coordinating across multiple countries, product lines, regional stakeholders and sales team throughout the FX Trading product life cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee strategic roadmap, development, launch, and marketing of FX Trading products to gain maximum benefit from each product across 17 markets
  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core FX Trading products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve business goals
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within a region or business
  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop FX Trading product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of FX Trading solutions
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance and revenue performance, as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace, and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions and client management for all FX Trading Products
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders including peers, FX Trading Desk, markets, management and country business representatives in an effective and collaborative manner Appropriately assess risk when business decisions for FX Trading Products are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications: 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
  • Functional experience in product management, marketing, product development and analytics of FX Trading products (include FX Spot, FX Forwards, Margin FX, Loan Swaps, Premium Accounts, Exotic Premium Accounts, OTC Options)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred or CFA / Equivalent certification
