Our client is a well-established top tier bank in Asia. They are looking for a department head to lead the ALM team. This is a newly created role after their strategic changes of their team structure. You will be leading a team of 10+ subordinates and drive the ALM function of the bank.

Description

Reporting to Group CFO, you will manage banking capital and liquidity of the bank and ensure group compliance with regulatory requirements. You will run ALCO committee meetings and be responsible for creating strategies for the Bank's assets and liabilities and will be instrumental in helping implement these strategies. Furthermore, the coverage of the role includes overseeing FTP (funds transfer pricing) strategies, liquidity and funding cost, internal funding flow, etc.

Profile

Bachelor degree holder in related discipline; professional qualifications, e.g. HKICPA, CFA or TMA, are preferred
At least 12 years' experience in Asset Liability Management and FTP topics e.g. running ALCO
In-depth understanding of Treasury operations, financial instruments and money market products
Good people management skill
Good application of liquidity management, risk management and accounting concepts
Good understanding of retail and commercial banking operations e.g. cross-functional linkages and inter-dependencies of the organization
Good spoken and written English and Chinese
