Job Summary:

Discretionary Analyst position works with the Portfolio Strategists and Research to recommend and implement investment decisions for Discretionary Services clients. In this highly visible and fast-paced role, you will manage all aspects of Discretionary client portfolios including asset allocation and investment research recommendations, trade execution and settlement, daily portfolio monitoring and client support. You will also interact with the NEPC Discretionary Committee and help prepare materials for new business prospects. In additional to the investment operations support, this individual will also be responsible for leading projects to improve portfolio operations, including specialty projects and research by client type.
Job Qualifications:
A minimum of one - three years of investment related experience is required. Highly developed computer skills, proficiency in spreadsheets and attention to detail is required. Must have strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are imperative. College degree required. Advanced degree and/or the CAIA® designation, CFA® designation (or progress toward these credentials) is preferred and is a requirement of the job longer-term.
