Equities Research Analyst

Certifications: Currently Taking or Passed CFA Level 1

Zacks SCR is looking to hire additional JR Equity Analysts to grow their team in the Healthcare and Special Situations areas

Successful Candidates will report to a Senior Analyst whos responsible for writing equity research and publishing reports and articles on small cap issuers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gathering and analyzing data from a variety of sources; including company reports, internet, etc.
• On an ongoing basis, the analyst will need to remain up-to-date with news stories, earnings reports, industry conferences, on the companies he/she is tasked with
• Building, maintaining and analyzing financial models of companies and industries. Identify key trends and value and risk drivers (Senior Analyst will be expecting to provide help and guidance in this area)
• Attending company calls every quarter
• Prepare an investment thesis for each company under coverage (Senior Analyst will be expecting to provide help and guidance in this area)
• Taking part in management and client interaction
• Keeping in touch with the industry so as to understand or identify upcoming stock ideas
• Ensure ongoing self-development.

Qualifications:

• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; CFA® Level 1 (Required).
