Overview
The DWS Large Cap Growth team consists of five full-time investment professionals that manage US, international and thematic sector mutual funds, and institutional mandates for a total of about USD 5 bn in AuM. We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst (generalist or sector expert) to serve on our investment team and perform deep fundamental research on large cap growth stocks in the US equities universe. You will have prior experience in this field paired with relentless inner drive, logical curiosity, and discipline in helping us find businesses with superior long-term growth potential that will help our portfolios outperform the market.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis of growth stocks to provide insight on business strategy, innovation, competitive landscape, and secular trends that leads to identification of investment ideas and recommendations
  • Monitor portfolio holdings, exposures, and ESG quality; initiate trade orders and document investment decisions; manage cash in and outflows
  • Support preparation of fund reporting, marketing, and presentation material
  • Contribute to continuous refinement of investment process (analytical and psychological frameworks, screening, decision-making, and risk control) along with team head
  • Interact with colleagues across our global investment platform, portfolio companies' senior management teams, and select clients while conducting responsibilities


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA and/or CFA is preferred
  • Ability to think across sectors/regions/trends and understand the implications of change and innovation that enables a differentiated perspective to identify attractive investment opportunities
  • High level of self-drive and ability to work independently with minimal supervision within a small dynamic team setting that entails a high level of responsibility
  • High capacity of intellectual curiosity, self-reflection, and eagerness for continuous learning and self-development while sharing knowledge and skills with others
  • Strong understanding of business, financial, and valuation analysis augmented by critical thinking skills through academic training or work experience is required
