Role Responsibilities:
The role will be primarily responsible for providing analytical support for managing Credit Investment portfolios. Key activities include:
- Global Coverage
- Generalist, with a focused on non-equity related strategies
- Day to Day tasks: Hedge Fund manager research - monitoring of managers; sourcing managers; extensive report writing; assist Sales team with client requests
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 3-5 years' investment related experience
- Competent capital markets background - particular focus in Fixed Income, money markets and derivatives
- Mathematical and technical background
- Buyside experience
- A self-starter who has a 'can-do' attitude, can quickly analyse internal and external requirements and focus on managing often challenging delivery expectations
- Superior attention to detail
- A strong effective communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships with the senior management team and internal teams
- Effective writing skills
- A proactive and flexible team player with effective interpersonal skills
- An independent thinker with a high level of integrity
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise effectively
- The ability to remain level headed when managing multiple tasks to often tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft office programs with Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate) and Outlook as a pre-requisite
- Degree level education / CFA
