Position Description:

The Client Communications Associate serves a core function within PIMCO's Business Development Group by supporting business development and client servicing efforts. The Associate's primary responsibility is to partner with various internal teams to create customized presentation materials, that is both regulatory and brand compliant, for use in client and prospect meetings.

Key Relationships
PIMCO's Account Management, Product Management, Compliance teams

  • Partner with Account Management teams to create customized client-servicing and marketing collateral for institutional (corporations, public pension funds, unions, etc.) and Global Wealth Management clients
  • Gather and analyze client portfolio data using internal and external applications
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reporting for internal and external purposes
  • Handle multiple deadlines and maintain a commitment to quality and attention to detail in a timely manner
  • Professionally communicate with all levels of staff across various departments
  • Foster a sense of teamwork, assisting others when needed/required with energy and enthusiasm Partner with senior professionals and teams across the organization to improve workflow processes

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Economics

Preferred qualification:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial services
  • A strong background and/or interest in fixed income and economics
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with macros is a plus
  • Manipulating queries in Business Objects, InfoCube and VBA is a plus.
