The Role Responsibilities

- Continuing to develop and grow the business alongside Coverage, FM, and CF partners
- Pitch and ultimately execute public fixed income issuances into the global capital markets for Americas clients with DCM Legal and Bond Syndicate
- Prepare and provide Americas clients with information pertaining to market / pricing updates, local currency markets, regulatory changes, case studies, internal research, issuance strategies, liability management recommendations, and MTN / private placement reverse inquiries
- Oversee all 144A / RegS co-manager deal execution
- Prepare DCC submissions (when applicable)
- Maintain discipline in keeping clear, coherent share folders for the team
- Assure all transactions are properly recorded in WorkBench
- Maintain an up-to-date deal pipeline
- Diligently monitor proper fee accounting
- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations amongst colleagues and work in collaboration with internal partners
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and share best practices (i.e. sharing well-received marketing material with DCM Europe)
- Effectively promote and maintain a high-profile for DCM Americas with our Coverage partners (particularly with the ARMs)
- Adherence to all Group Policies and relevant legislation covering Credit, Operational, and Reputational risks - amongst others
- Commitment to the Group Code of Conduct
- Timely completion of all e-Learnings, FINRA exams, attestations, and requests for information
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, as well as the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
- Willingness to "speak up" in the event of any realised or perceived breach of group conduct rules or laws by colleagues
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
- DCM Global; DCM Legal; EMTN; Bond Syndicate; FM Sales; FM Structuring; FM Trading; Corporate Finance; Coverage (IC / FI); Support Functions (Finance, Risk, and Compliance - amongst others); Clients
- Demonstrate "Here for Good" and the Group's brand and values in my everyday behaviour
- Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures

- Passed level 2 of the CFA program
- Moody's Credit Skills Assessment Certification
