Risk - Pre-Investment Risk - AVP/VP

Job responsibilities:

• Review the asset businesses of front-line departments, identify positive factors and negative factors / risks, verify the operations and financial position of target companies, take ownership of conclusions of the risk review, and aim to prevent risks before they occur;

（1）Credit risk business: investment bank financing, bond investment (credit risk), margin financing and guarantee

（2）Equity investment business: equity investment (with or without repurchase) in private companies, block trade of private and listed equities (investment risk)

（3）PE fund or fund platform business；

（4）Other new businesses involving investment risk management.

• Responsible for reviewing the commercial preconditions before funding deals reviewed and approved by the company, and to propose solutions for deals which do not meet or require renegotiation of such preconditions;
• Use front-line deal information, on-site investigation, and publicly available information to conduct independent and comprehensive research for pre-investment review and post-investment tracking;
• Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/ her supervisor including but not limited to credit and investment risk research, industry research, risk guidelines, reporting etc.

Job requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Accounting or Business;
• MBA/ CFA degree preferably;
• At least 6 - 8 years relevant banking experience with direct experience in risk control and financial project management;
• Good business sense;
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
• Diligent and committed;
• Strong communication & internal personal skills;
• Conversant in Word and Excel, including typing Chinese;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
