Responsibilities:
Requirement:
- Conduct primary research and fundamental analysis using public filings, websites and other materials
- Travel and visit prospected and invested companies' senior management
- Analyse and interpret financial statements and all other sources of investment information
- Develop detailed financial models, research reports and insights
- Engage with consumers, suppliers, competitors, and other industry professionals for channel checks and research
- Present high quality written and spoken research pieces
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- CFA qualification is an advantage
- Relevant equity research experience, preferably covering Asian markets
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is a must
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Financial statement literate
- Comfortable working independently
- Interested in improving Japanese companies
