The Role Responsibilities

The Implementation Manager (IM) sits within Transaction Bank within the Implementation and Business Account Management (IBAM) function and acts as the single point of contact for complex implementations of cash management solutions. The IM ensures that the client's expectations are met, by assembling the necessary implementation project team, creating an accurate and complete project plan, ensuring that all milestone dates are met, clearly tracking progress, capture issues and risks, maintaining action plans with follow-ups and ultimately delivering the solution on time.

The IM during the project is responsible for all stakeholder communication as well as the timely escalation of issues / risks.

Employee participates in the pre-sales phase - this includes participation in customer meetings, system demonstrations, requirements analysis and/or assisting in solution design.

An IM is typically professionally certified in managing business projects, tools, methodology and techniques for best governance practice for implementing core banking solutions for global treasury and shared service centre business infrastructure.

Key expertise in technical integration for bespoke complex solutions spanning e-commerce, open banking, new payment methods, hybrid fintech solutions, centralisation structures of Treasury In-House Banks, Trading Centres with cash ecosystem solutions and advance global liquidity structures.

The IM plays a significant lead technical role in ensuring delivery of solutions and consultative support in a diversified multi-cultural environment facing rapid changes while exceeding customer expectations.
Key strengths in people and relationship management with strong emphasis on customer focus and revenue opportunities.

Willing to accept challenging responsibilities with the ability to perform to high standards under stakeholder pressure and delivery of projects within demanding deadlines.
Primarily focused on bespoke project opportunities in key Universal Markets and surrounding country clusters deployed to cover global and industry opportunities.

Client Implementation Responsibilities:

- Single point of contact for the client during the implementation phase of complex mandates.
- Provide project management/leadership for assigned complex cash management implementations, by following established processes, using all project management tools. Ensure that the appropriate leaders from the client and all relevant stakeholders from SCB are involved.
- Ensure regular communication during the project with internal partners and clients.
- Understand and capture clients' requirements.
- Manage all required Client & Legal documentation during the project.
- Active engagement in solution design
- Provide training to the clients for complex implemented deals implemented
- Conduct a post implementation review with the client for all complex implementations.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, International Business or related business.
- Relevant experience in implementing Transaction Banking products for Corporate and Institutional clients.
- Detailed understanding of technical banking file formats e.g. SWIFT, XML and file based delivery.
- Understanding of local banking systems, policy and procedures.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Adequate knowledge of client documentation.
- A dynamic team player, capable of adopting collaborative approach in designing unique client solutions.
- Able to hold credible dialogue at all levels of the organisation, as well as with clients.
- Ability to review and analyse workflows and procedure to drive process improvements, enhancing client experience.
- Self-motivated, confident individual with excellent communication and presentation.
- Well organized, able to multi-task and balance competing demands.
- Fluent English.
- PMP or CFA qualifications required.
