PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- The candidate must have a track record in corporates' M&A transactions, and a good knowledge of corporate finance.
- Lead transaction execution for entire deal cycle, including drafting of basic contracts, performing analysis and provide support for client advisory.
- Prepare presentation documents including pitch books, strategic business financial proposals and brief company descriptions.
- Build and run financial models on relevant companies.
- Perform research, analysis and write reports on industry sectors and specific companies where applicable.
- Multitask between assignments and jobs assigned to the candidate.
- Manage and handle communication with clients and partners of advisory companies.
- General office administration and supervision of junior team members.
- Work closely with the Chairman on origination of new transactions.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant prior experience 3-5 years working experience in IBD or M&A/deal/transaction advisory team.
- Professional qualification in financial discipline, CFA/CPA are preferred.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modelling, documentation, research and due diligence.
- Sound knowledge in IFA/M&A/Capital market and corporate restructuring transactions would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and good knowledge of Mandarin.
- Strong with numbers, ability to build financial models and good understanding of the business and economic environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Diligent, team player and personable individual.
- Highly professional and self-motivated and able to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of a second European language would be an advantage.
- Legal knowledge and basic contract drafting ability would be added advantage.
- Focus and knowledge of an industrial sector, such as financial services or consumer goods would be an advantage.
