Overview

Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. We analyze relevant trends for the Bank in financial markets, the economy and society; highlight risks and opportunities, and act as consultant for the Bank, its clients and stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality, independent analysis and actively promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labor market, and social policy issues.

You will sit with the Credit Strategy team in London or New York. This involves macro analysis, on-going authoring and production of research to promote investment views on global corporate bond markets and marketing of those views to internal and external clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clients (including asset managers and corporates) with insights into global credit markets based on both macro (top-down) and micro (bottom-up) analysis. Modelling and written reports will be complemented with client meetings
  • Support the credit business - both primary and secondary - through idea generation and data analysis
  • Manage and maintain data used in the preparation of reports and analysis
  • Contribute to team publications that cross asset classes and topics
  • Marketing of those views to internal and external clients


Your Skills and Experience:
  • An established corporate bond/macro background with experience in analyzing the corporate bond market. A track record of producing research or analysis of corporate bonds and the fundamental and technical factors that drive their valuations
  • Ability to generate ideas and convert them into commercial research for clients
  • Attention to detail and passion for producing professional-looking publications that deliver insights and shape conversations in the industry
  • Strong analytical and writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills which enable you to market your ideas to the internal and external client base
  • MBA and/or CFA certification is preferred but is not required
