RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The firm seeks an experienced hire candidate to join the US Machinery & Diversified Industrials equity research team as a senior Associate. The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of experience on the sell-side working in cyclical sectors. Principal responsibilities include:
  • Generate investment ideas based on bottoms-up quantitative and qualitative research
  • Create and maintain financial and market models to deliver leading estimate accuracy
  • Communicate with the equities sales force and traders, clients and company managements
  • Analyzing market share, macro trend, and cross company and sub sector data analysis
  • Conducting statistical analysis of economic data, fundamentals, and relevant correlations of the data
  • Write research reports on companies under coverage

Key qualifications

  • 3-6 years of sell side equity research, within cyclical sectors preferred
  • Strong financial modelling and stock picking abilities
  • Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
  • Experience managing others on teams and assuming leadership of projects
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships
  • CFA Institute charterholders preferred
