The Senior Portfolio Manager works together as a team with the Tax-Managed Equity Product Manager to manage the tax-managed equity product. The incumbent handles daily portfolio management responsibilities for the tax-managed equity portfolios and develops and implements portfolio-construction strategy alternatives and rebalancing programs for specific tax-managed equity portfolios. Portfolio risk will be monitored and managed. Additionally, s/he is responsible for monitoring both overall product data and individual tax-managed portfolios to ensure adherence to client guidelines and objectives. The incumbent will work with portfolio teams, as necessary, to ensure proper attention to daily administrative matters related to the tax-managed portfolios. S/He uses experience and capability in tax managed process to provide sales support for new business opportunities. The incumbent will lead discussions explaining specific account strategies with PWM portfolio managers, clients and/or their advisors and will also be a spokesperson for the tax-managed product. The objective is to ensure that the product, specific investment strategies and performance are well understood. Jointly with the Tax-Managed Equity Product Manager, s/he improves processes for managing the tax managed product equity product, as well as training other members of the product team.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum 4 years of experience in investment management industry required. MBA (or equivalent experience) or pursing CFA designation desired. Must be a self-starter capable of working with limited supervision. Must be capable of working as part of a team. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with personal computers and support applications required; e.g. Excel. Knowledge of additional support systems desired, e.g., Aegis, Bloomberg, trading systems. Willingness to enhance knowledge of financial markets and asset allocation investment strategies.
