Equity Analyst - Long Short Hedge Fund - London
Our client is a top performing long/ short hedge fund firm based in London.
They are now looking to add an Equity Analyst to their team..
The role will focus on the following:
• Working as an equity analyst on a top performing long / short hedge fund
• Identification and analysis of investment opportunities in publically traded equities where the share price is likely to decrease thus creating a trading opportunity.
• Financial modelling, valuations, company, sector and market analysis
It's a fantastic role and a very rare opportunity for a chartered accountant to join of of the top funds
They are looking for someone who will have a background as follows:
- Equity analyst from a sell side or buy side firm with the CFA
- investment banker or consultant with the CFA
- ACA qualified professional from a major accounting firm
- Superb academics
- Real interest in financial markets
- Great technical accounting skills
