About this role:

The iShares FOFE Team is responsible for distributing iShares products and solutions to Family Offices, OCIOs, Foundation & Endowments, and Health Service Organizations. The Team is seeking a VP to serve as Relationship Manager responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with existing clients and prospects in the United States. The Relationship Manager will market the full range of investment capabilities from iShares' extensive platform. Reporting to the Head of iShares FOFE, the individual will be fully accountable for the financial results of an assigned book of business. Additionally, the individual will deliver best-in-class thought leadership, and investment solutions to prospects and clients in their designated territory to maintain and grow our wallet share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key client relationships and drive engagement with CIOs, Portfolio Managers and traders to identify and diligently pursue new potential business and retain existing business.
  • Drive new revenue and new mandate generation across products and client types.
  • Lead robust client and prospect meeting and engagement activity.
  • Initiate brand building and sales activity with investors not currently engaged in discussions with iShares. Develop and execute strategy to uncover and develop mandates that will have the most commercial impact.
  • Develop product fluency across iShares ETF solutions and the broader BlackRock investment platform.
  • Work collaboratively with partners within BlackRock to meet clients' needs and objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the Team's overall development.


Skills/Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of financial industry experience. Experience in institutional relationship management and fundraising preferred.

  • Deep industry and investment knowledge. Strong proficiency in public markets and across a wide range of investment vehicles.
  • BA/BS degree in related field (Finance, Economics or Accounting).
  • Relevant regulatory licenses (Series 7 and 63) / MBA or CFA is desired.
  • Self-managed, highly driven by relationship management and revenue generation.
  • Strong intellectual ability and interpersonal skills to establish credibility with the senior leaders throughout the Firm and the institutional investor community.
  • Highly effective in forging working relationships with team members and business counterparts.
  • Collaborative and cooperative approach to a team-based sales model.
  • Strong communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely articulate product and platform characteristics to sophisticated investors both in written work and presentations to large and small audiences.
  • High ethical standards and displays both professional and personal integrity
